So we people work harder and harder, sometimes to this extent that we almost forget about our happiness.
Since childhood we are taught that our life will be full of happiness if we become doctor, engineer or any reputed official.
Basecially our elder ones fit into our mind the equation,
Money+ Recognition = Happiness.
No doubt money and recognition brings a lot of happiness in our life but it's not all, in my opinion.
Some short of spark or say source of happiness is must in everybody's life. It may be gardening, cooking, exercising, traveling, reading, listening or a combination of many.
We have plans, goals and ideas to work on and if it fails then usually some short of backup plan. But do we have a backup plan for our happiness?
I mean if our happiness and excitement turns into depression anxiety and sadness, Do we actually have a backup plan?
Certainly the answer is No.
Either we just ignore it or start giving out bundle of excuses such as destiny. In my point of view we must prioritize our happiness over anything else in our life. As at the end of life , it's only happiness and good memories that we carry along. We must focus on real happiness, the way we do on our career. A balance between two is must for a happy life.
The second important point is not being real . Most of us have a role model who seems fascinating; may it be in terms of health, wealth, knowledge or any other subject of personal interest. We people wants to be exactly like him/her (like a replica). Initial thoughts of it maybe sure short term success with guaranteed happiness, but the conclusion may be very frustrating. Here in some way or the other we lose our inner self, the real person we used to be. This topic must be given some preference in life of every individual as being real is very important.
By being real the journey may seem a bit longer than usual, but the confidence, happiness and memories that we'll get here will be certainly magical.
So,
Be Happy - BeReal - Be You.
